This restaurant is really good. Very authentic in Portuguese cuisine. Food is super fresh and cooked perfectly. Octopus and steak were cooked so well, melting in your mouth. The quantity of food was more then enough! Dessert was delicious and super fresh! Food came fairly quickly! I was very satisfied! Would recommend this place 100%!

Went as a party of 8 for a 6:15 reservation on a Saturday night. We where seated immediately and our orders where taken quickly as well. Our food came out within 20 minutes and was delicious! I had a caldo verde soup, the beef and pork mix, and a rice pudding for dessert. I recommend Chaves and will be returning.

Delicious authentic Portuguese food. Both dishes were delicious, we tried the shrimp Mozambique and shrimp Diana with grilled onions and peppers in a garlic sauce. Friendly service and good food.

We went for Mother’s Day and they had a shorter menu with a few options. I got the paella and it was a big portion that was enough to feed 3 people! It was very good. I would return another day to try something off the regular menu. There is limited parking in the back and street parking (meters).

A friend from Portugal recommended this restaurant and said it was just like home!! We all had the Francesinha sandwich and it was INCREDIBLE. We can't wait to order again!!!
